Effective date: February 2026
Konscious OS stores a small amount of preference data locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This includes:
This data never leaves your browser. It is not transmitted to any server, API, or third-party service.
The current version of Konscious OS does not collect or process:
The current version of Konscious OS does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. If future versions introduce integrations (for example, to support team or collaborative features), this policy will be updated before any such changes take effect.
In its current version, Konscious OS makes no network requests. The extension operates entirely offline after installation. If future features require network communication (such as account sync or team collaboration), we will update this policy and notify users before enabling any data transmission.
The extension requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:
No broad host permissions or access to browsing data is requested.
All stored data is retained locally until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data. Uninstalling Konscious OS removes all stored preferences. You can also manually clear extension data through Chrome's settings at any time.
Konscious OS does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since the extension collects no personal data from any user, this concern is inherently addressed by the extension's architecture.
If the extension's data practices change in future versions, this policy will be updated accordingly and the effective date will be revised. Any version that introduces data collection or transmission will notify users before proceeding.
